I've been here before, I can do it again...

I've been here before, I can do it again...

I’m currently living in a bit of a chaotic mess.

My husband and I are renovating our main bathroom, and there’s plaster dust everywhere.
Constant noise.
No toilet or sink on the second floor - which is especially inconvenient in the middle of the night.

And if I’m being honest, there’s also this ungrounded feeling sitting underneath it all.

As someone who really values a clean, calm, quiet environment… it’s a lot.

I miss the silence.
I miss my routines.
I miss not hearing power tools first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

So naturally, I’ve been asking myself: why did I convince everyone in this house to do this?

It was fully my idea. No one to blame but me.

But like most things with a long journey and a meaningful payoff… it’s worth it.

It’s not that different from starting a business or planning a retreat.
Small steps.
A long, often messy process.
Moments where you question your own decision-making.

But every time you move through something like this, you build a little more confidence.
A little more resilience.

And at least for me, a greater willingness to do it again.

Because you have proof now.

“I’ve been here before. I can do it again.”

So friend, what’s one micro-step you can take today toward something that feels overwhelming?

I believe in you :)
