3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Hosting My First Retreat

3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Hosting My First Retreat

1️⃣ Arrive the night before your guests⁣

~Trust me, this will totally set the tone for your entire retreat. You will be able to welcome your guests with a more calm energy then the frantic, flustered energy that comes when you arrive at the same time.⁣

⁣2️⃣ Rent a private house⁣

~We stayed at a resort during my first retreat and when I scouted the location during the off season, it was peaceful and seemed secluded. But during the summer when we hosted the retreat, it was loud and packed with drunk bachelor parties. Not my favorite and never again.⁣

⁣3️⃣ Always add 10% to your budget⁣

~It’s always best to be prepared for the unexpected costs that come with hosting an event, especially one that is multiple days and you may also overlook certain costs when you’re just getting started hosting.⁣ ⁣

⁣Want to skip these same mistakes and cut straight to hosting confidently?
