Historic fieldstone farmhouse is furnished with quality antiques & modern home decor. Situated on a private and secluded lot with extensive lakefront lawn with lake access. Or choose to sleep under the stars in a dreamy yurt! With a comfortable mattress, pillow and luxurious linens, you’ll hardly be roughing it. Community accommodations include a charming living, dining, and kitchen area, outdoor porch, deck and secluded, wooded grounds with fire pit, and washer and dryer for added convenience. Wind down in the evening by one of the two fireplaces or fire pit and enjoy your morning coffee out on the front porch overlooking the gorgeous lake.

Private Room with Queen Bed and shared attached bath $1225 (1 available)

All yoga and meditation instruction, meals and workshop are included in retreat price.

Private home has 4 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms.

What’s not included:
Round-trip flight
Travel Insurance.
Costs of any miscellaneous activities or sightseeing not included in tour itinerary. Massage therapy appointments are available at an additional cost and we can schedule for you.
Transportation costs to any excursions not included in retreat itinerary. 
Any shopping, tipping, or donation costs.
Any (optional) tips to drivers or guides.
Accommodation or meals for any extra night stay.

*A $350 Deposit is required at registration. Full retreat payments are due by July 1, 2019 (30 days prior to retreat).

Meet Wandering Roots!

Anna VanAgtmael is a yoga enthusiast and travel designer with a passion for connecting with others.  She founded Wandering Roots to help others check in with themselves while checking out of work. She is a RYT 200 certified yoga instructor who believes in trying everything once and her values lie in collecting memories over things. Through traveling, she has found a happier and deeper connection to herself. Wandering Roots’ mission is to inspire you to grow in your own journey.

Her favorite things are her husband, two dogs, the water and the mountains. The quickest way to get her to do something is to tell her not to do it. She owns a landscape company but has never actually planted a plant in her life. She loves long drives, but have no desire to ever be behind the wheel, she considers herself a professional passenger.

A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Elise spent much of her 20’s in a frantic search for adventure as a Chicago location scout and producer for advertising, catalog and film shoots. She's ridden a camel across the Sahara, swam in a cage surrounded by sharks, and scouted for the perfect hot tub to fill with hot chocolate and marshmallows. She's addicted to green juice, dying her hair, everything vintage, and the smell of new school supplies. She's spent years studying posing specific to the female body of every shape and size. She will coach you through every pose and movement like a boss and never leave you hanging!
In a society that puts a camera in every hand but is quick to shame the selfie, her mission is to create a safe and supportive environment for female self-expression. Her photography is about so much more than a simple portrait, it’s about self-awareness and self-love. Join her in a movement to #existinphotos.

Abbey loves traveling and learning about food. She has traveled to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand where she took a cooking class. Abbey specializes in Indian cuisine (yum!) but loves all food. She’s even tried fried silk worms! She has struggled with food allergies and has developed knowledge on dietary restrictions and allergies while caring for herself and preparing food for others. She is available to work with retreat guests to provide a menu that will accommodate everyone. She was a chef at Frederick Meijer Gardens but has transitioned into a business owner. She is an artist and accomplished welder that creates home decor and jewelry, and she encourages women to be their own boss makers and shakers through her membership through the Hot Spot.

Abigail is a life coach, digital marketing coach and yoga teacher. She believes that life can be so much better than we realize and loves taking people on their better-life journey. She believes that feeling BETTER can be broken down into clear action steps and will help you do just that! Her passion stems from personal experience – Abigail’s own life began with emotional and health struggles. At age seventeen, Abigail made a choice to search for a more empowered life. Once she started to create a life she loved, Abigail knew that she needed to share this empowerment with as many people as she could. Abigail has a passion for adventure; exploring new things and seeing people get excited about life. She loves rule-breakers and people that don’t fit the mold. Abigail eats more chocolate than any good ‘health nut’ should, loves a stiff drink and injects playfulness into everything she does.
