Jillian J Coaching and Wandering Roots bring you an Enneagram and yoga retreat that will reconnect you to what’s most important - YOU. The Enneagram is a system of nine personality styles that combine traditional wisdom and modern psychology into a tool to gain deeper knowledge of yourself and others. It can help you see your gifts, as well as the difficult patterns that cause interpersonal, spiritual and emotional challenges. Please join Jill Johnson as she teaches the different parts of the diagram and system and how it relates to your yoga practice!

At the end of this workshop you will:

~ Learn yoga poses and meditation mantras specific to you
~ Have more clarity and compassion for loved ones in your life
~ Leave with worksheets and resources for further growth on your journey

Together we will hike through wooded trails, kayak on the crystal clear waters of Arbutus Lake to get back to nature and center yourself!

Come embrace the relaxation and rejuvenation you'll find in these beautiful homes nestled on the shores of the crystal clear waters of Arbutus Lake. This secluded and tranquil setting is the perfect destination for a retreat. The open floor plans include vaulted ceilings with post and beam details, a warm and cozy stone fireplace and an airy screened porch dining area. 

Paddleboards and kayaks are on site so that you can explore the water whenever you desire. Relax in the hot tubs or retreat indoors to the large and cozy basement with kitchenette. Sip your morning coffee on the patio while soaking in the limitless views of the lake. Wind down the day, reflect, and gaze at the stars by the fire pit.

 In case you’re prone to slips or spills, two washers and dryers are onsite for added convenience.

*A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at registration. Full retreat payments are due by February 15, 2020 (30 days prior to retreat).

Meet Your Hosts!

 Anna VanAgtmael is a yoga enthusiast and travel designer with a passion for connecting with others.  She founded Wandering Roots to help others check in with themselves while checking out of work. She is a RYT 200 certified yoga instructor who believes in trying everything once and her values lie in collecting memories over things. Through traveling, she has found a happier and deeper connection to herself. Wandering Roots’ mission is to inspire you to grow in your own journey.

Her favorite things are her husband, two dogs, the water and the mountains. The quickest way to get her to do something is to tell her not to do it. She owns a landscape company but has never actually planted a plant in her life. She loves long drives, but has no desire to ever be behind the wheel, she considers herself a professional passenger.

Jill Johnson is the owner of Jillian J Coaching and creator of the Insightful Action program. She was certified as a Martha Beck Wayfinder Life Coach in 2015 and is a 500 RYT yoga instructor. She blends yogic philosophy with life coaching skills for a more holistic approach to help people simplify, get clarity and move forward in their lives. She currently teaches yoga at PeaceLab Yoga Studio and The Yoga Zen.

Jill Johnson first found her yoga practice in 2015 and fell in love with the physicality of the vinyasa style. Soon after, Jill realized that yoga aligned with her life coach training in that how you show up on your mat is how you show up in other areas of life as well. Inspired and eager to have another tool to teach people about themselves she became a certified yoga teacher. Although Jill loves a good vinyasa sweat, these days she’s leaning more towards a slower practice and teaching that unites people with their inner selves. When Jill is off her mat she loves laughing as much as she can, spending time with her husband and helping others by organizing their things and increasing their self awareness in her coaching practice.

A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Elise spent much of her 20’s in a frantic search for adventure as a Chicago location scout and producer for advertising, catalog and film shoots. She's ridden a camel across the Sahara, swam in a cage surrounded by sharks, and scouted for the perfect hot tub to fill with hot chocolate and marshmallows. She's addicted to green juice, dying her hair, everything vintage, and the smell of new school supplies. She's spent years studying posing specific to the female body of every shape and size. She will coach you through every pose and movement like a boss and never leave you hanging!
In a society that puts a camera in every hand but is quick to shame the selfie, her mission is to create a safe and supportive environment for female self expression. Empowering ALL women through photography is why what she does is so unique and special. It’s about so much more than a simple portrait, it’s about self awareness and self love. Abbey loves traveling and learning about food. She has traveled to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand where she took a cooking class. Abbey specializes in Indian cuisine (yum!) but loves all food. She’s even tried fried silk worms! She has struggled with food allergies and has developed knowledge on dietary restrictions and allergies while caring for herself and preparing food for others. She is available to work with retreat guests to provide a menu that will accommodate everyone. She was a chef at Frederick Meijer Gardens but has transitioned into a business owner. She is an artist and accomplished welder that creates home decor and jewelry, and she encourages women to be their own boss makers and shakers through her membership through the Hot Spot.
