Reflections on the Iceland Retreat
Reflections on the Iceland Retreat
I've been back from hosting in Iceland for a little over a week now and I really miss the group.
It was definitely one of my favorites.
Damn, they were funny.
And sarcastic.
And really kind.
I caught most of them throughout the week taking pictures of myself and Abs and E, so that we could have pictures, too.
And, I thought that was really thoughtful and sweet.
I felt like I got some quality 1-on-1 time with everyone, which is really important to me and is always a reminder how badass they all are.
I'm also always reminded that sometimes when we carry all of these roles and responsibilities, it's hard to remember who you are as just a human being.
Like what is your essence when you strip all of those titles away?
And what is it that sets your soul on fire?
Travel and spending time with beautiful souls is always this coming back to myself.
And, there were the usuals for any good retreat:
The weather was incredible - unseasonably warm and sunny...
Our guides were hilarious and some of them pretty good looking ;)
It felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time - yay for not navigating hoards of tourists.
Abbey spoiled all of us with incredible food and birthday treats.
We had a mini dance party while we did flying dress shoots with Elise - and she even had time for individual shoots with most of the babes.
Most of us got to experience the adrenaline rush of cliff jumping.
And, we all discovered that we're very talented writers ;) hahahaha!
But watching guests come back to themselves and remember that they are worthy of anything that they desire, that's still my why.
So to the Iceland group of 2025 - thank you so so much!
Love and miss you all!
Join us - unless you hate laughing and making new friends ;)
